Privacy

Plain language about your information.

We keep this short and specific, because a privacy notice you can't read isn't a commitment to anything.

Information you choose to share

If you contact us through this site, we ask for your name, organization, email address, an optional phone number, and a description of the challenge you would like help with. We ask for this only so we can respond thoughtfully and prepare for a useful first conversation.

Please do not send confidential customer data, credentials, financial records or other sensitive material through the inquiry form. If a project requires that kind of information, we will agree on an appropriate way to share it.

How we use it

When you submit the inquiry form, the site sends an automatic acknowledgment email to the address you supplied so you know your message arrived.

We use what you send to review and respond to your request, understand your situation and, if we work together, to scope and deliver the engagement. We do not sell or rent information, and we do not share it with advertisers. We do not add you to a marketing list because you contacted us.

Where inquiries are stored

Inquiries submitted through this site are stored in the website's cloud database, with access restricted to server-side code and the two of us. Internally, inquiry details are shared only with Allan and Allisa, and with the service providers necessary to operate the site and deliver email notifications.

We take reasonable care with this information, but no website or system can promise absolute security, and we hold no compliance certifications for this site.

Information handled during a project

When a project requires access to your systems or data, we limit that access to what the work genuinely needs, are deliberate about where information travels, and keep permissions appropriate to the role. Specific handling commitments are documented in the agreement for that engagement.

Client work stays private by default

Client work stays private by default. We share identifiable work only with explicit permission. That is why the demonstrations on this site are fictional applications we built ourselves rather than screenshots of anyone's system.

This website

This site is intentionally simple. We do not use advertising trackers or third-party profiling scripts. Standard hosting logs may record technical details such as IP address and browser type as part of serving and securing the site.

Retention and your choices

We keep inquiries and correspondence for a reasonable period for business follow-up and ordinary recordkeeping, then remove what is no longer useful. You can ask us at any time to correct or delete the information you have sent us, and we will do so unless we are required to keep it.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we will update this page. For any question about how your information is handled, note on the inquiry form that your message concerns privacy — it will be read personally.
